Sleep deprivation not only affects our physical health; we also become less creative and creative people tend to stay up late at night too! Find a way to get enough sleep: read in bed when it’s quiet and in the morning before going back to work; take naps during lunch and nap again after lunch; set alarms so that you get at least 5 hours of sleep every night; don’t go home until after 8pm (this will help prevent insomnia – which makes us feel exhausted at work the next day) ; don’t drink alcohol before bedtime (alcohol has been shown to interfere with melatonin production by disrupting serotonin production); set an alarm for bedtime so that you don’t stay up later than usual or clean up late in the morning after work because tiredness makes us do things like this (or what we need not do).
