A man-made stone, created by suspending copper in a matrix of silica; contains a varying amount of cobalt, manganese and/or chromium which makes the deep blue color. Primarily copper, this stone is an excellent conductor, useful for the generating and transmitting of energy such as in healing or meditation sessions, even over distances. In crystal healing it is said to be a stone of confidence and ambition, encouraging motivation and drive. It is an uplifting stone which encourages a positive attitude and promotes vitality.
